Cheri Ian is a main character on the Netflix original horror series, The Midnight Club. She is portrayed by Adia.
Cheri is the daughter of a Hollywood star, having grown up in a life of privilege, comfort and isolation. Her diagnosis leads her busy parents to send her to Brightcliffe Hospice, where she finds trouble bonding with the rest of the group due to her hesitation to share any truths about herself or her family.
Biography[]
It is difficult to verify with certainty that what Cheri says is true because she is a pathological liar. The most likely part of Cheri's story is that her parents are wealthy because of the expensive gifts she receives. Her father may be a famous director, while her mother is allegedly a renowned actress. With parents constantly abroad, she was raised by servants and professional caregivers.
Cheri has a form of terminal cancer that is not named in Season 1. Despite her penchant for falsehood, Cheri is a kind person and she gifts Illonka with an expensive hairpiece. Unlike the other members of the Midnight Club, Cheri has never shared a story claiming that she is in the final stages of editing it.
Cheri seems to have some musical talent and often seen playing the cello to add ambience to the group's meeting.
